3-14-16 ONE YEAR IN THE BOOKS!

Hey Everyone!

I hope you guys are doing great! This week I completed one year and it´s crazy how that has happened already and so fast. I feel like this upcoming year will go even faster!

So to start off this week, on Monday, we went to an amusement park on the outside of Lima. I uploaded those pictures to Dropbox. It was a ton of fun!! We went on rides and also there was a zoo so we petted the animals as well.

Then during this week my one-year mark passed by. And that day we had a special conference with Elder Robbins, a Seventy. It was a great conference. The missionary group I came out with celebrated our one-year anniversary.

It was a great week for Elder Martinez and I. We found some pretty awesome families. There was a sad but spiritual moment that we had with one of these new families. We went to the home of a partial member family we were going to teach. However, the investigators weren´t there and we were talking with the mom and she mentioned one of the neighbors. We went to that home and taught them. This family just had a tragedy in their family. Their 10-year-old son just died un-expectantly last month. They are devastated and had many questions and were so humble. We taught them the Plan of Salvation. And I noticed something in their eyes. They had hope in their eyes and it numbed the pain that they had. I realized how real this world is and put me into perspective thought and I am so glad for this plan that God has for us. The lesson was super spiritual as well!

Well that was my week, many more things happened but I only have time to share only about a tenth of what happened. I love you guys and in one year I will be home hahaha!!!
