10 Months!!!

Time is flying! I hope that each one of you guys are doing great! This week has been an interesting week. There was so many ups and downs, but in the end I have come out even stronger!

The big challenge this week was some of our investigators struggled with illness as did I. With all of these challenges, I have become stronger and I received an understanding much greater. Don´t worry I am doing much better now. Yesterday I lost my voice and a have this nasty cough. I now have medicine that is helping me so much, please don´t worry!

So those were the downers but this week was pretty spiritual. I got a reference from one of our recent converts, Miguel, and this reference was a man named Alejandro. Alejandro is 70 years old, his wife has passed away, his kids have abandoned him, he physically cannot work, and he only eats when his neighbors bring him something.

It was such a touching moment when we knocked on his door and he opened it and greeted us with such a warm smile and love. It was clear that he doesn´t get that many visitors and he is lonely. When we entered his house, he told me of everything that he is going through. It was so sad but I felt so much love for him. When he was talking I heard a still small voice that said, ¨Be kind to the poor.” And with that I started to talk with so much power and authority, and I could see the change in him. By the end of the lesson he had hope in his eyes. I remember his prayer and how humbly and heart felt it was.

Our meeting with Alejandro was Saturday night and we invited him to church the next day. When we went to church, to our surprise, Alejandro was the first person at church, before all of the members. That was a moment that I will always remember!

Another spiritual experience was this morning when I gave blessing to a woman. And in the blessing, the Spirit was so strong and I could feel the love that God has for her that I couldn´t help but cry. It was such a neat experience that like Alejandro, I will never forget!

Well that was my week and I can´t believe that it´s 10 MONTHS!!! I love you guys and you are always in my prayers!!!
