Happy Thanksgiving!
Well now I know that the Peruvians do not celebrate this holiday what so ever. It was just a normal working day for them hahaha. This week was a great week though. We had some baptisms and have come to feel right at home here in San Juan. The people here are seriously the best. They are so humble and so loving. We have been teaching four families that we are going to marry and baptize and they are so excited! In this little time of teaching, they have completely changed. When walking into their homes you can feel something different and you can see the light of Christ in their eyes. All of the worldly problems and challenges don´t faze them when they know the grand picture of our purpose here in the Earth. I absolutely love teaching the Restoration and the Plan of Salvation because almost every single time it´s their first time hearing of this great news that we have a living prophet and also this Plan that God has for us. These things have become a part of me and I am so grateful for this opportunity here in my mission to realize these things and to come to love and cherish them.
My companion is a great guy and we have been working super hard together and both of us are learning. I love just how excited he gets with the baptisms it´s like a little boy on Christmas morning.
So there you go. My week has flown past and it´s already P-day. I hope that each one of you is doing great and that I love you!!!
Love,
Elder Langfoss
